Chuck Kelley

Chuck retired as Executive Vice President for Marriott’s Caribbean/Latin America Region in 2010. During Chuck’s tenure the region grew to 53 operating hotels and a confirmed pipeline of over 20 new hotels. Chuck’s career spanned 32 years in the hotel business and during that time he gained experience in food & beverage, sales & marketing, held regional marketing positions covering California and Asia/Pacific, General Manager and Country Manager in Australia, before moving to south Florida in 1999 to cover Caribbean/Latin America. Chuck is a 1977 graduate of the University of Hawaii Travel Industry and Management School with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. He has served with distinction in the US Army in Vietnam having earned a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for valor in combat. He is also an active member of the Baptist Health South International Advisory Board and Chairman of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s Hotel and Airline Forum.
