Armin Schroecker, Co-Founder/Co-Owner

ArminArmin earned his professional credentials at the prestigious Schloss Klessheim Hotel School in his native Austria and has updated his skills since with specialty executive courses at Cornell University (US), IMD (Switzerland) and Hilton’s erstwhile CDI. He was a founding member and vice president of the Frankfurt Hotel Alliance, as well as a member of the ‘Frankfurt Zukunftsrat’, a city think tank forum. In Canada, he served on the boards of the Greater Toronto Hotel Association and Hilton Canada, and continues to be a board member of the Canadian German Chamber of Commerce.

In May 2014, Armin completed a 3-year assignment in Frankfurt, Germany to renovate, upgrade and re-position the landmark Frankfurter Hof,,  the flagship hotel of the Steigenberger Group.

Armin has now permanently relocated to Cape Town, South Africa and continues to fly the flag for G7 Hospitality in Southern Africa. Earlier this year he has acquired the boutique hotel ‘Derwent House’ at to showcase efficient hospitality services and operations on a micro scale level. Further activities will concentrate on assisting hotel operations, training and coaching of potential executives and provide hospitality services on contract basis in the southern part of Africa.
